Most summer residents from out of Ted Burton Sep 24, What Kenora is Talking About No feed items available at this time. Breathtaking is the word that comes to mind when I think of the place we stayed, we had booked their deluxe rooms with lake view and the rooms were cozy and clean. One can take part in kayaking, trekking, and other activities, the staff will guide you and assist you with everything. Apart from the scenic view, peaceful environment, and good food, one of the best things about the resort were the people, every staff member we interacted with at the resort was really sweet and helpful.

Would recommend people to go visit and take a break from your busy lifestyles and enjoy a peaceful stay in the lap of nature. Pros location excellent, well maintained, average-sized rooms for a couple, pet-friendly. Cons, the nearest market is at least 3 kms away, room service was a bit slow, restaurant prices were high, loud music by one group one night ruined the stay, housekeeping for room was lacks, hand shower in washroom kept dripping and the issue persisted the entire duration of stay.

Bathory - The lake

We stayed at the Lake Resort, one and only at the bank of Naukhuchia Taal a stunning location. Rooms are good and bathrooms are clean. The food is good and is at reasonable price keeping in view that they have no competition. Boating, kayaking and above all paragliding and mountain biking is available nearby. If you want to swim and taste live ice cream made in front of you visit sat talk. Must to visit if you like nature. Great staff, food, location.

Bear on the Lake Guesthouse / HI Cape Breton

Though breakfast can have more items added. Use less oil to prepare food is help people to be fit! Great resort with awesome views of the Naukuchiatal Lake. Getting there is a little difficult but there were a lot of sign ages to direct you to the Resort from the highway. Food was great and The staff were very polite and friendly.

One can walk and explore the surroundings, go boating, kayaking, cycling etc. Be there were a lot of activities to keep one occupied. Definitely a must visit place if you desire a holiday away from the maddening crowds and peace of mind.

Very nice place with affordable prices. Very good resort alongside the lake. Amazing view. Not worth being away from city was pissed off with travelling. This resort is very far away from the Nainital city about 1 hour it will take to travel from the city.

Fall Color Tours

Room and amenities are okay. Just a good view. There was chilling cold and the room heater was just for the namesake. Also in the restaurant, we got a green crystal in a dish we ordered. Food service was very good.

Staff was good. View was good. Quality of food was very good. Food, staff. Rooms, view. Everything was just perfect strongly recommended.

Welcome to Cape Breton Island and the start of the Cabot Trail

This was my first stay at this resort and in sure in gone come back again and again. The staff was amazingly courteous and helpful. The food was delicious, had tried the specialty, chicken pahadi and it was amazing. The view from the resort is mesmerizing. If ill ever need a break from my busy schedule, ill come here again and stay for a while.

The surrounding is very quiet and everything is just a phone call away. I highly recommend this to anyone who just needs a break from their regular schedule. I wish I could've stayed here for couple of more days. Located around 26 KM from main Nainital city the hotel is located right on the lake boundary. The only thing I would probably change is that for a resort of this level I would expect the hotel have a better food menu. The location is excellent.

One can have the view of the lake from each room. The boating station is within walking distance. The quiet and serene atmosphere is a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of the city. The food served is of good quality and variety. All this along with the good service and courteous staff made our stay memorable. Will definitely visit again and the place is highly recommended.
